I did not read this before I ordered a new drive for my system. After me and my friend took apart the unit, I broke the connector for the drive cable. I didn’t expect it to be so fragile. Basically found this post after and then sent it off to VideoGame911.com to get fixed for the damage I had done. They fixed the connector and repaired my drive and I now have my precious system back to me. I was so worried that I would have lost all my data like the other sites which do that. I am happy I didn’t loose my wifes pictures we have saved over the years.

You cannot believe how pissed I was when my system went YLOD. I thought I lost everything I had worked so hard to accomplish. Sent my system off to VideoGame911. They fixed my PS3 for less than $ony and I had all of my precious saves back when it returned from them. I will never use any other option, they have a customer in me for life!

My Play station 3 won’t play blue ray disc are game’s after i updated to 3.56 firmware keep getting error code 80010516, it will play DVD Video and Play Station 1 game’s.

Fill out a Get Started repair order, use the number on the back of the controller for the serial number or just write PS3 CONTROLLER in the serial number field for the repair order. Just get it to us for evaluation, repair, or replacement.

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to let you know – we received our PS3 back, it was well packaged and seems to work fine!
My grandson is VERY HAPPY – he said all is info was still there which was really great (so he says) and he used it last night and seemed to work fine.
I wanted to THANK every one involved – I will keep and share your web site and email address with other people in our area.
We had great service and great turn around time and a price that was in line with SONY.

My kids do love the Wii, so much so that my son must have wanted to play 3 games at the same time. He shoved 3 disks into the slot all at the same time.
